Durning the Battle of Aspern & Essling in 1809, the granary in Essling was made into a fortress by the French troops defending it. With very thick stone walls and many small windows it was virtually impregnable and withstood many attacks. This is an accurate model of the original building. Note that unlike most PaperTerrain models the Granary does NOT come with a ruined version of the buildings (it was almost indestructible) but does come with the option of making the roof removable. The 10/12mm scale Granary is 5” x 3”. The 15mm scale Granary is 7” x 4 1/4”. The 20mm scale Granary is 9 1/2” x 5 3/4”. The 25/28mm scale Granary is 12” x 7 1/4”.
