The Valley of the Danube River has seen many wars over the years. The houses in Austria and Bavaria have an interesting style. Property plots were very narrow and very long. Houses were built at one end, near the road, and then stretched away from the road. Over the generations the houses were added to and often got longer and longer. The remainder of the property was usually made into gardens. This kit in 6mm (1/300) scale) includes 20 houses, the famous Aspern Church and Essling Granary along with garden walls, fences and sheds. As with most PaperTerrain houses, there is a ruined building underneath the intact one.
