Vauban-style fortifications were built all over Europe and elsewhere in the world during the 18th and 19th centuries. Many battles took place around these fortresses. The forts were still in existance into the 20th century and some even became involved in World War II battles. This kit allows you to build a 6mm scale (1/285, 1/300) Vauban fort with five bastions, connecting walls, a gate house, Demi-lune and barracks. The finished model is approximately 9" x 9". The kit is available in either a brick pattern or a stone pattern.
