Vauban-style fortifications were built all over Europe and elsewhere in the world during the 18th and 19th centuries. Many battles took place around these fortresses. The forts were still in existence into the 20th century and some even became involved in World War II battles. This kit allows you to build a Vauban fort with four bastions, connecting walls, and a gate house. When complete, the 10/12mm scale model is approximately 14" x 14", the 15mm scale model is 19" x 19", the 20mm scale model is 24" x 24" and the 25/28mm scale model is 30" x 30". The kit is available with either a brick pattern or a stone pattern.
