One of the most common types of bunker on the Atlantic Wall was the 5cm gun bunker. They came in several different types. One type was just a simple pit with a thick concrete wall around it. The gun was mounted to fire over the top of the wall, but was unprotected above. Another type had a heavy concrete wall blocking one side and a roof overhead. This type of bunker was called an "Enfilade Bunker" and was sited to fire down the beach while being protected against fire coming from the sea. This kit includes two bunkers of each type. Each bunker comes with a 5cm gun and mount and a crew to man it. The gun can be made to rotate on its mount. The kit comes unassembled and does not include a base or landscaping.
